New smartphone , LG G4 Release Date and Review

LG announced at an event in London its new flagship, the LG G4. Its characteristics were already known, but anticipate. Nevertheless a high-end smartphone and sets it to the current top alongside Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9, at least on paper.

LG G4 - Release Date and price

The G4 will be available in two versions, one plastic as his successor the G3, another that combines leather and plastic. The price of the G4 is 649 euros for the standard version in silver, gold or white ceramic and 699 euros for the model available in red, Brown and black leather. They have 32 GB of storage.

It is no more expensive than the Galaxy S6 in 32 GB version also. LG rises to the level of Samsung, although S6 edge is left alone in the range 900-1000 euros on Android. The release date of the LG G4 will be around June 2015.

LG G4 - Design and finish

Let's start with the obvious facts: the front of LG G4 is slightly curved, touch on the screen and the ergonomics are at the rendezvous, the camera is very pleasant to take control early. Interesting detail: the front of smartphone is not quite smooth, texture looks a bit to the carbon fiber, the result is striking.

Leather model has a disadvantage, it easily takes the blows and scratches. This is of course not bound the quality finish of the G4, but the nature of the material. At the time, a very elegant patina should be formed. Moto X 2014, who has a back leather (optional) is experiencing the same problem

The seam in the center of the back of the LG G4 is quite coarse, it is instead a marked distinctive sign and does not interfere with the grip.

Skips to the plastic model, that it has a more sober finish. The plastic is not brilliant but Matt and has a texture grid diamond giving an effect much more premium than the glossy back of G Flex 2 for example. Good news for those who do not really like the idea of a smartphone leather.

As you can see, the LG G4 is well equipped. Snapdragon 808, which equips the new LG flagship is not at all a 810 discount. It is supposed to be more efficient and it is especially equipped with the new module LTE of Qualcomm, the X 10.

It allows connections up to 450 Mbps & carrier aggregation. This technology makes good use of the different frequency bands to increase the maximum throughput available.
