The Samsung Galaxy Tabpro S

Announced yesterday at the conference of Samsung, we were able to take control of the Galaxy Tabpro S tablet. Compete with the Surface Pro 4 presents undeniable advantages, including a keyboard that makes us good impression.

Three configurations of this Samsung Galaxy Tabpro S should see the light of day around the end of February. The latter will be phased from 900 to 1200 euros, less than the Surface Pro 4, which is trading at the cheapest, at 949 euros, without a keyboard.

The Galaxy Tabpro S lines are generally those found on Korean Android slates, but it is there to a machine running Windows 10. It is quite confusing to find this OS on a Tablet so fine (6.3 mm without the keyboard).

Hand, the magnesium Shell offers a feeling of robustness and 693 grams of the Tablet remain honest to this 12-inch format. Slab Super Amoled screen offers a nice display and seems to deliver a faithful colorimetric; whites do not pull towards the blue, a color temperature close to the standard sign. The definition of 2560 x 1440 px is sufficient to display perfectly chiseled texts

The keyboard that comes with the Tabpro S is good. It is used intelligently cover. The flying system magnet on the lower part of the shelf and the back of the latter allows to be both safe and easily detachable link needed.
The cover allows two display positions, the passage from one to the other as easily. Once folded, all rather fine rest.

The keyboard itself offers a fairly close strike found on portable computers with chiclet keys. The space between the keys could be a little more consistent to avoid typos. May require a little time to adapt.

The touchpad is certainly not very large, but it has the merit of being quite powerful and offers pleasant gliding. With its keyboard, this Tabpro S closer overall comfort of use of a laptop. The only downside is that the use on the knees will remain a problem, the rigidity of the whole not being that of a notebook.

Difficult to judge the beast on a test performance relatively short. However, we can say that the Intel Core M3, 4 GB of RAM and SSD trio should offer a certain fluidity in the Basic uses.

We found no slowdown in our grip. The rear sensor 5 Mpx is shown to be surprisingly good, even in difficult light conditions of the fair. Hard to imagine but a real utility to the latter on a slate of this format.
At first glance, the Tabpro S  has sufficient assets to titillate the Surface Pro 4 entry on her flower beds. Remains a crucial question, for the moment no response, the price of this machine, which will probably be one of the keys to the success of this Samsung tablet.
